Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

At SignalSec, privacy is a fundamental baseline, not an afterthought. Because we prioritize operational security and minimize attack surfaces, we do not require user accounts, logins, or credential storage to utilize the core platform.

The only information we collect is non-personally identifiable analytical data standard to all web infrastructure (e.g., IP addresses, browser types, timestamped access logs) purely for security monitoring and abuse prevention.

2. Local Storage and Preferences

SignalSec utilizes your browser's local storage (localStorage) to save personalized UI and sorting preferences (such as Thumbs Up/Down data on specific news sources). This data never leaves your device. It is never transmitted back to our servers, sold, or telemetry-tracked. If you clear your browser cache, your preferences will simply reset.

3. External Links

Our dashboard aggregates links to external news domains, vulnerability databases (NVD), and government advisories (CISA). Please note that we have no control over the content, tracking technologies, or privacy policies of those external sites. Once you follow a link away from SignalSec, you are subject to that website's respective policies.
