Ethics Statement
Our Core Philosophy
At SignalSec, we believe that actionable cybersecurity intelligence should be accessible, frictionless, and secure by design. In an ecosystem plagued by data brokers and surveillance capitalism, we have taken a radically different approach to how we build and operate this platform.
Why There Is No Login Feature
You will notice that SignalSec has no registration forms, no login prompts, and no premium paywalls. This is not an oversight—it is a deliberate security and ethical decision.
- Reduced Attack Surface: Storing passwords, email addresses, and personal identities inherently creates a honeypot for threat actors. By refusing to collect this data, we eliminate the risk of a user data breach.
- Right to Anonymity: Security researchers, journalists, and system administrators should be able to track exploits and vulnerabilities without being tracked themselves.
- Client-Side Processing: Any personalization features (such as prioritizing specific news sources) are executed entirely on your device via local storage, ensuring your reading habits remain your own.
Data Integrity and Transparency
We do not alter, editorialize, or manipulate the core integrity of the intelligence we aggregate. Our automated AI summaries are designed strictly to extract the "bottom line" (the Who, What, and Why It Matters) without injecting bias. We always provide direct, unadulterated links back to the original primary sources, NVD entries, or CISA alerts so users can independently verify the context.
Commitment to the Community
Security is a collective responsibility. SignalSec is built to quietly serve the defenders—the analysts, engineers, and researchers working to keep infrastructure safe. We pledge to maintain this platform as a high-signal, low-noise resource, free from intrusive tracking or misaligned incentives.
